We have recieved several e-mails wondering why we have not posted or commented on the Georgia Bigfoot Body hoax. Here is our reasons and comments about the situation.
1: With so many venues reporting on the subject, We at Ga Bigfoot decided not to promote the hype of this incident through our website. Press about a negative is still press and that is exactly what the participants in this hoax want. Let them get their 15 minutes elsewhere.
2: I being a moderator on the BFF and my partner also participating on the talk boards, publicly stated numerous times(from the beginnings in July) our opinion this was a hoax. You can find said opinions on the BFF and BFD forums.
3: My partner in Ga Bigfoot was interviewed by the Atlanta Journel Constitution, and stated in the interview our stance of this situation being a hoax. The interview ran Saturday, August 15, 2008.
4: It is our operational method to be objective and find out all the facts before we speak. The Hoax is now a matter off public record as of Monday, August 18, 2008. There are many facts out in the open now(although, we believe alot more will surface), and many sources are available to research the events.
We will have some blogs coming forth tackling this issue.
Georgia Bigfoot stands firm on our goal to honestly and with integrity tackle the phenomenon of sasquatchery. We pledge to not present any information that is not verifiable, or has not run through the proper scientific channels and peer inquest. Thank you for reading our site and check back for updates. |

Welcome to Georgia Bigfoot! Alot has happened over the past several months, including the big news: We have changed ownership! The new owners, Mike and Steve are committed to providing you with the same level of dedication in the pursuit of the truth in this phenomenon as the previous owner. Many thanks to Sam and his deligence, honesty, and integrity in sharing his pursuit with us and we look forward to hearing from him and his continued excellence of investigation from out west.
There are some changes we have decided to implement with Georgia Bigfoot. Also, there are some projects we are adding to the mix which will be very interesting to follow. These will be discussed in other articles. The public sighting report is still open and we have aligned ourselves to better followup and investigate those reports. The Blog section is still open and be looking out for more subjects from different personel.
Thanks so much for your past support and we look forward to you following our progress as we continue to try and solve this mystery.

In the winter of 1997 a package arrived at the door of Dr. Grover Krantz. Inside was a cast of a remarkably large foot, alleged to have come from what many consider to be a myth. To the late doctor this was nothing new, as he had in his career examined many such casts. What marked this cast as unique though wasn't its size, or even its alleged creator. The unique nature of this cast lay not in its source but in its location. The fact of the matter was that this cast had not come from the Pacific Northwest, or even the wilds of northern California. It had instead come from somewhere that then and now did not rank amongst the most talked about of supposed sasquatch lairs. It had come from Georgia. |
